Are you interested in getting involved with your local PA group?  A great way to do that is through volunteering on a committee or considering a board position.  Volunteer time varies depending on your level of involvement.  Areas to volunteer include legislative issues, CME programming, assisting membership, promotion of the MdAPA or assisting with local events in your area.  Reach out to any of the board members below for more information about volunteering options, or contact Elizabeth Donovan, to discuss the best fit for you!

Legislative Committee
The Legislative Committee works on legislative priorities as decided by the board, and helps engage members in advocacy efforts.

CME Committee
The CME Committee assists with content and activities for the main CME conference (s) each year.

Membership Committee
The membership Committee works on different ways to increase member numbers, and improve engagement of current members.

Public Relations Committee
The Public Relations Committee works on social media efforts, a quarterly newsletter, and assists our management company with other PR efforts.

Awards Committee

The Awards Committee is responsible for administering the organization's awards program each year--gathering nominations, selecting winners, and hosting the ceremony.

Student Relations Committee
This committee is focused on the important work MdAPA does with the state's PA  programs--engaging current students in the future of the field, and getting them involved with MdAPA.

Diversity Committee

The Diversity Committee works to ensure that the future of the PA profession is a unified one, allowing all to play a part as PAs, and ensuring that all patients are cared for  in an equitable manner.
